A clear inquiry is the fastest route to an accurate quotation. When key details are missing, both sides lose time in back-and-forth emails. Here is what to include.
1. Product identity
Give the product name and, wherever possible, the CAS number. Many chemicals are sold under several trade names; the CAS number removes ambiguity.
2. Grade and specification
State the assay or concentration (for example, 98% sulphuric acid or 30% PAC), the physical form (flakes, powder, liquid, granules) and any limits on impurities that matter to your process.
3. Quantity and frequency
Mention the order quantity and whether it is a one-time purchase or a recurring requirement. Recurring volumes help with planning and supply continuity.
4. Packaging
Specify bags, drums, IBCs or bulk, and any labelling or marking requirements.
5. Delivery and documentation
Share the delivery location or destination port, preferred shipping terms, and the documents you need — such as TDS, MSDS/SDS or COA.
With these details in hand, our team can confirm availability, specifications and supply options in a single response.
